Global Learning as a Pathway to Civic Education
This International Education Week webinar was produced in partnership with CFR Education and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU).
In an era of rising polarization and global interdependence, higher education has a unique responsibility to equip students with the skills to understand, engage, and lead across divides. This session explores how global affairs literacy can strengthen civic engagement and foster inclusive, democratic classrooms and campuses. Learning from AASCU, attendees gain actionable strategies to embed global learning into curricula and co-curricular programming, leaving with tools to help prepare students to build bridges across differences and contribute meaningfully to a complex world.
