Model Diplomacy for Model UN Users

Prepare Your Students to Step into the Role of UN Security Council Decision Makers

Model Diplomacy is a free simulation program that invites Model UN users to step into the shoes of decision makers and practice UN Security Council role-plays in advance of Model UN conferences. Model Diplomacy simulations help students develop critical thinking, persuasive speaking and writing, and collaboration skills, all while giving them hands-on experience grappling with the challenges of our modern, globalized world.

Model Diplomacy is designed for Model UN-ers

  • It builds debate, diplomacy, and writing skills critical for Model UN success.
  • It provides ready-made, time-saving resources for advisors and captains.
  • Simulations cover UN Security Council decision-making debates.
  • It’s remote-friendly.
  • It’s 100% free.

Built-In Flexibility

Model Diplomacy offers content covering a variety of proficiency levels, topics, and types of role-play to ensure you have flexibility to practice the simulations that make the most sense and will build the most skills for your team. Check out our case library of extended simulations or try our shorter, more accessible one-page simulations that enable Model UN-ers to immediately engage with the most current issues and events in foreign policy.
